1. favorite all time album
this changes for me, but i’m pretty confident that my forever pick will be pleasure suck by the spirit of the beehive. each song flows so perfectly and theres some sort of chaos that i LOVE!!!!

6. album i think is overrated
i’ve learned to appreciate this record after at first thinking it was less-than-stellar. i’m not dissing at all because i definitely think it has its place in the music world but i guess i don’t see why its as “legendary” as everyone thinks it is.

11. album that hypes you up
i was in the 9th grade when this record came out & i remember specifically listening to “you might think he loves you...” in french class to get myself pumped 4 the day. i thought death grips was so weird but for some reason i couldnt stop LISTENING.

12. album that makes you sad
this album RIPS MY HEART OUT EVERY TIME. julien baker always has a way of making despair and sadness so fucking beautiful & this record was my introduction to that. many-a-nights were spent crying to this record

13. album that took awhile to grow on you
i always thought nicole’s music erred on the side of being too sad and graphic for me, but one day i decided to just sit down and listen to this record in full without any distractions and welp!!! there are some real standouts on this :)
