my sister is a storybook villain. she claims she just like the 'villain aesthetic', but it's only a matter of time before she unhinges and her origin story unfolds. here is my proof:
first: LOOK at this photo of her as a child. the crazy hair, the black turtleneck, holding her pet, and EVIL in her eyes. we recreated it and wow.
we noticed her villainous tendencies a few weeks ago when my little brother called her 'the yzma to his kronk.' he is very wholesome and nice (like kronk), and she always sends him to do trivial tasks and whatnot
this has been going on for awhile now, but we just started to put a name to it. here are some of her halloween costumes as a child (yes halloween is supposed to be scary/bad guys, but it still adds to the evidence):
she keeps on getting the 'bad guy song' from Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers stuck in her head and sings it around the house
she consistently double crosses/backstabs us in board games, as well as makes unfair deals. she always claims to play honestly, but doesn't
she was born in The Year of The Snake (2001)
she was/is a 'purple girl'. used to be obsessed. purple everything. now its more subtle but she still loves it. common villain color if you ask me (side note: the evil queen from snow white is the profile picture SHE CHOSE for our family Disney+ acct)
she has a tendency to love/sympathize for villain characters, namely anakin from Star Wars (she's been watching clone wars, so understandable) and Rumplestiltskin from Once Upon a Time. Rumple was on her math binder for years
speaking of star wars, she owns a jar jar binks mask. that speaks for itself #darthjarjar
after seeing these 'cain instinct' posts, she went through a phase where she would come up to be and go 'STAB' while mimicking stabbing me in the stomach, then say something like 'sorry, cain instinct' or 'sorry, i was feeling stabby' THIS HAPPENED TENS OF TIMES A DAY
she loves knives/daggers. (I gave her the rainbow knife, so I'm an enabler, but still)
she's studying CHEMISTRY like who does just straight up chemistry as a choice?? unless they're looking to concoct evil potions and/or become an evil mad scientist
okay when the siblings play smash bros she'll be peach wearing a white dress. if she wins, she switches it to a red dress because she 'soaked in the blood of her enemies' IT SCARES US AND WE TRY NOT TO LET HER WIN
in fourth grade, she tackled a guy who now plays football for Yale because he stole her 'green funky monkey eraser' (foohy monkey head). a few guys she went to school with admitted to being afraid of her. this may be her origin story
more halloween costume evidence, as well as another villian she loves: Regina from Once Upon a Time
on that note, she loves capes/cloaks and wants a cool dramatic one
she can copy other people's handwritings scarily well
this one is more of a stretch, but she has really bad baby fever. LOVES BABIES; it's just a matter of time before she makes some sort of unfair deal with someone for their firstborn
in middle school, she got her friends to call her 'Empress Maria' - sounds villainous to me
one time I walked into her room and she had the Eye of Sauron painted on her leg (3 times). it was because she was painting it on HER WALL, along with these other some other not pictured lotr villains
around when Frozen came out, she would frequently recreate that one evil Hans scene- stroke my face and go 'Oh Ellie, If only there was someone who loved you'
she's a bit of a prankster. My brother's quilt on his bed has a few patches on it. just last week, she found small holes in the patches and stuffed 2 action figures INTO that blanket, and wiggled them around so they'd be hard to get out
that's a wrap. except for the fact that she hasn't done any MAJORLY evil things, the evidence is undeniable. I live with a villain (or soon to be one) under my roof.
(okay but fr her empathy for others and love for non-villainous things like butterflies, bright colors, sewing quilts, baking, etc kind of cancels out the villainy. she's also going to use her chem skills to be an awesome teacher. also her lotr mural is dope and not just bad guys
