idk if this has been said...but the parallels and the rice symbolism (?) between the current msby vs alders match and the inarizaki vs karasuno,, i love how this portrays how atsumu and kagehina have this plain hunger to improve and are always trying new things & craving vb

i also love how it shows how different osamu and kita r from kagehina and atsumu who have this hunger to improve in vb. osamu and kita are satisfied w what they’ve accomplished in vb and they’ve moved on but hve never forgotten how the sport has allowed them to grow.

but in the end, “to be good is to be free” and “we don’t need things like memories”. ppl like osamu, kita, & noya were very talented players, but they chose to do other things in life because their talents shouldn’t hold them back from other things.

also when atsumu says “the past is gone. all you need is right here” it embodies how dedicated and in love he is w the sport and this applies to kagehina too. ugh i just really love how this shows that they’re all happy with their decisions and how they chose to live life.
