Posting on personal profile with ~4k followers, no lengthy caption or hashtag used // 19.6k views

Surfexcel posted on their own account with ~7k followers, hashtag and everything // 157 views

Why did this happen? [breakdown thread]
The first most important reason is that person has an active twitter acount, interacts with people.

Whereas brands just create accounts for the sake of creating and post for the sake of posting. If you're not active and engaging, its of no use.
The second reason is the platform, every social platform has different dynamics, you just cant use IFTTT to post same thing on facebook, insta and twitter and expect results. Doesn't work this way!
The third and last reason is that humans love humans, interested in what they do, what they post and no matter what you do you'll still be a brand.

Spend on humans, just using hashtags wont help as seen.
