a really interesting trivia bit from the manga is that the moon is fully restored to its former glory by the end of the first arc! usagi chooses to life a life on earth and then, after the natural disaster that occurs, she ends up replicating parts of it on earth?

the neo queen serenity we meet initially doesn't necessarily end up being the neo queen serenity that usagi becomes, thanks to her own time travel intervention! but i've always really wondered about that original neo queen serenity that chibi-usa felt so distant from --
