Okay w/ all the Jeff Goldblum stuff going around I have to tell y’all about the Jeff goldblum Jazz concert I went to
I got free tickets bc my friends step dad like worked for the venue or something like that. Anyways we walk in like 30 minutes late. We are the youngest people at the concert by like... 40 years?
Everyone is way older than us, and everyone is super dressed up. Not just normal dressed up. People are dressed up in like 1950’s inspired outfits? Literally everyone. I was wearing jeans and a hoodie
Everyone seated at tables, it’s a super fancy concert and I had no idea. I didn’t listen to Jeff Goldblums music before hand bc why would I? I was just going bc I thought I would meet a bunch of girls my age who ironically thought he was hot
Jeff Goldblum is on stage just reading trivia questions ABOUT HIMSELF! There’s no music. There’s a band, but he’s just doing Jurassic park trivia. The crowd is loving it. If you got a question right, all you won was the piece of paper that the question was on
He does this for like 30 more minutes. Then he hops on the piano and plays so bad and idk even know what “good” piano is supposed to sound like. I swear he played MAX 4 keys. Him and his lead singer who was like 30 years younger than him were groping each other
They play one song and then Jeff stands back up to do MORE TRIVIA ABOUT HIMSELF! For LONGER THAN THE FIRST TIME! It’s just a bunch of random obscure facts about him that for some reason, people in the crowd know the answer to.
And they were so excited to win the piece of paper that the trivia question was on. They performed maybe 6 songs total and Jeff Goldblum played shitty piano the whole time and all the songs were sex ballads between him and his singer
