there needs to be a discussion about what consists to be drama, a call out post, or anything of the nature that many folx on here complain about when there are serious issues amongst the silly small town conflict nonsense that should have remained between your inner circle.
drama takes many forms—it can be petty and nonsensical to even illustrating more underlining serious issues that folx are and tend not to be aware of within any community.
and i say this to the effect of when there is evidence or the need to produce evidence to help prevent more possible victims—so many are dismissed in light of it.

especially more so when it becomes a public thing.
it’s frustrating to me about how two-faced folx can be about whether smth is discussed in public vs in private.

how whisper networks work until it simply doesn’t.

and how those who are truly worried for others, risk being persecuted for simply trying to have your back.
i have seen and witnessed a good amount of “drama” both privately and publicly, and i have also seen what it does to those involved and those who are outside of said “drama”.

and it is rather distressing to see it happen again and again.
this isn’t meant to be a subtweet or call out of any nature but rather a musing about how dangerous it is that we have reduced such serious issues to mere “dramas” to bemoan about as seeking attention or fake.
i have seen how folx have championed themselves as being there for victims and survivors when in reality it’s only to a degree until a certain line is crossed.

and it hurts to see, especially when it starts making you doubt and question those whom you once knew…
also a lot of these “dramas” are never given the proper closure in private hence the publicity helps so so in a lot of cases while vice-versa for public cases being settled in private.

and that is if said case even gets any closure to begin with as many never do.
sides are always drawn up and you get labelled however people perceive your standing even when you had not intended it to be viewed as such.
perhaps i am rambling about vague issues that folx hate having to realize is true about a lot of these kinds of situations, but not to seems like a disservice to those who summon up the courage to say or do smth, or those who speak up to seize the advantage of their victims, etc.
i would hope perhaps this thread will shed a new perspective on these “drama” or help others stuck in such situations to not feel so alone and overwhelmed.

either way, i think it’s important to think about what constitutes as “drama” and what constitutes issues to be discussed.
