Told you to expect news on #Symbiont, so - behold.

A thread on the theme.

In case you have no idea what I'm talking about: "Symbiont" is a comic book I started designing back in 2015-2016. Sentient trees, the Sidh from under the city, all that jazz...

...it got its first print in 2016-17.

The thing is, in a couple of years of art torpor I realised two facts.
1. I did make some cringy anatomic mistakes back then.
2. My painting style CHANGED.

Not drastically, mind; but it did.

Now I often use more details, and I don't dismiss the backgrounds that easily.

It is not that I want to repaint the whole thing. Some pages I consider quite good and detailed enough to let them stay the way they were.

But I want to improve the whole thing to re-release it.

That includes fixing the mistakes, editing some parts of the text...

...and finishing the goddamn second tale, which is ALMOST DONE. It had been, really. But the more time passed, the less I liked it.

I also need to get my grip back on the sharp and clean lines and combine that with my current style.

Will I publish it?
Fucked if I know.

(Oh, and it's very much 18+ in Russia just because there are LGBTQIA characters in it. Otherwise - no swearing. I, myself, am fucking amazed.)

But I'm working on it.
And I want it to be a story I'm proud of.
