Respect Orihime Inoue

A thread on the most misunderstood character in Bleach
Age: 15 (Pre-Timeskip), 17 (Post-Timeskip), 27 (End of Series)

Height: 157 cm (5'2)

Weight: 45 kb (99lbs), 49 kg (108lbs)

Affiliations/Allies: Gotei 13, Visoreds, Karakura Town
Summary: Orihime was a regular high school student in Karakura Town with a regular crush on boy in her class. However when her friends are being attacked one day by a mysterious being, Orihime awakens her powers, Shun Shun Rikka, in order to fight back and protect her friends.
Now she works with her super powered friends in Karakura Town to save others.

Terms in case you don't remember:
Reiryoku: A source of power aligned with the spiritual sensitivity and willpower of the user. Every spiritual being and every Human has a certain amount of Reiryoku. If this amount is higher than a certain degree, it grants the person superhuman abilities.
Reiatsu: The physical force/pressure that a person’s Reiryoku creates when released. A battle between Bleach characters is a battle of Reiatsu.
Reishi: Spirit particles, it is the material that makes up souls and spiritual matter. Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, and beings that live in them are entirely made up of Reishi. It is also a source of energy used by Quincy for their weapons, arrows, and abilities like Blut.
Shun Shun Rikka: Orihime's Reiryoku is harbored in the pair of six-petal flower-shaped hairpins that her brother gave her. Shun Shun Rikka is composed of six spirits that reside within the hairpins, each of which is two petals on the clip when inactive.
Orihime has the power to reject phenomena by denying or undoing events in various forms. This power can be used for offense, defense, or "healing" (depending on the combination).
Unknown to Orihime, her powers were awakened by the Hogyoku's ability to manifest the desires of those near it, Orihime's desire being to be able to help her friends. The downside to Shun Shun Rikka is that all it's abilities depend on Orihime's emotions.
At times of despair, the abilities weaken and fail to use their potential, while conviction makes them stronger. As well as the physical hairpins of the Rikkas can be easily broken.
Santen Kesshun: Orihime's defensive technique that repels attacks by placing a shield between the enemy and target. It creates a triangle which has the ability to reject beyond the shield.
Sōten Kishun: Orihime's "healing" technique. While originally believed to be an advanced healing ability, Orihime learns that she actually rejects, reverses, and reconstructs phenomena/events that have occurred, even those that she hasn't witnessed.
The ability is to reject within the shield. The shield placed inside repels the damage within a limited area and returns the target covered by the shield to the state that it was in before taking damage. As Aizen states, it is far more powerful than "Temporal Regression" or ++
++ "Spatial Regression", it is a power that "trespasses into God's territory".
Koten Zanshun: Orihime's offensive technique that rejects the fusion of matter and splits it. It is the ability to repel "both sides of the shield." It breaks through the enemy, puts up a shield inside, and repels the combined substance, splitting the enemy in two.
Shiten Kōshun: It creates a triangular shield which, at the very instant of receiving an attack, diffuses the force by exploding the moment its hit and at the same time automatically reacts with an attack of it's own.
Now to the most important part: Feats

Feats Are Sectioned By Arc In Chronological Order
SUBSTITUTE SHINIGAMI ARC
Durability:

Is slightly injured by Acidwire's bite, and Acidwire could contend with Ichigo at the time.
Santen Kesshun:

Blocks multiple shots from Numb Chandelier, who was capable of doing superficial damage to buildings.
Sōten Kishun:

Removes Numb Chandelier's shot on Tatsuki's head and minorly heals her.
Koten Zanshun:

Cuts Numb Chandelier in half, who was a pretty big Hollow.
Skills:

Tatsuki, second place Girl's Japanese Karate Championship, told Orihime that her skills in Karate are equivalent to a black belt.

Orihime has her memories replaced, but she was able to resistance it's effects and recall the events.
Downside: Orihime in the first arc can not user her powers unless she uses her Spirit Chant to call them out.
SOUL SOCIETY ARC
Strength:

Orihime is strong enough to knock out two Shinigami
Santen Kesshun/Speed/Reactions:

Reacts and blocks multiple point blank explosions after they set off.
Sōten Kishun:

Mostly heals Jidanbo's arm after it had been cut off by Gin, she began healing him during the day and stated at night it would take at least 5 more hours to completely heal him.
Skills:

Because the Santen Kesshun barrier rejects negative events, it can also function as an airbag of sorts, allowing Orihime and anyone else nearby to survive a potentially lethal fall unharmed.
Due to her training with Yoruichi and over the course of the arc, Orihime learns to call out her powers without the need of the chant.
Her "healing" ability is compared to the 2nd and 3rd seats of the 4th Squad, who specialize in healing. Unohana, the Captain of 4th squad even realizes her skill
SOUL SOCIETY ARC
Durability:

Survives being backhanded by Yammy, but it really fucks her up. Yammy was able to overpower Chad's blow and mutilate his arm with what seems to be a backhand.

Endures a beating from Menoly and Loly.
Santen Kesshun/Speed/Reactions:

Reacts and is able to throw up Santen Kesshun to stop a blow from Ulquiorra, who was moving so fast he was FTE to Bankai Ichigo and was sometimes able to overwhelm Bankai Ichigo with his strikes.
Santen Kesshun:

Stops Yammy's finger from striking her.
Sōten Kishun:

Heals Chad's arm extremely fast despite just being struck by Yammy.
After a one month timeskip in which Orihime trained during, her Sōten Kishun "healing" ability increased significantly as she was able to heal two Shinigami after they had the majority of their torso removed instantly. They lived too.
Heals Menoly after the entire upper half of her body was destroyed by Grimmjow's point blank Cero
Skills:

Yammy sucked out the souls of residents of Karakura Town, yet Orihime was not affected by this.
Orihime's Reiatsu sensing is very impressive as she was able to detect and locate Ichigo's Reiatsu to his location despite Ichigo being in Hachi's Force Field. His Force Field is undetectable to Shinigami and even Aizen couldn't even find it despite searching for nearly a century
Although Orihime's Shun Shun Rikka are fragile and can be broken, she can repair her powers with Sōten Kishun
Her range and number of targets for "healing" increases by a huge margin after the 1 month training timeskip.
Orihime demonstrates that she can even bring the dead back to life as seen when she revives Menoly. The limit seems to be that there has to be remaining parts of the dead subject and the time of the rejection has to be close to the time of the subject's death.
Sōten Kishun holds it's subjects until Orihime withdraws her powers as Bankai Ichigo could not get out of it.
Downsides:

Shun Shun Rikka are very fragile for her verse and can be broken easily. This doesn't seem to be the case Post-Timeskip however.
While Orihime can heal wounds quickly, it takes longer for her to replenish the subject's Reiatsu. Also, large amounts of foreign spiritual pressure around a wound makes her power to reject much slower.
THE LOST AGENT - FULLBRING ARC
Santen Kesshun/Speed/Reactions:

Reacts and throws up a Santen Kesshun to stop Fullbring Ichigo's blitz on Tsukishima.
Shiten Kōshun:

Blocks Ginjo's strike and hits back enough to cut through his shoulder.
THOUSAND YEAR BLOOD WAR ARC
Santen Kesshun/Speed/Reaction:

Orihime reacts and throws up Santen Kesshun to block Uryu's Licht Regen.
Numerous times, Orihime reacts and blocks Yhwach's energy attacks despite his attacks being fast enough to overwhelm True Shikai Ichigo.
Reacts and throws out a Santen Kesshun and stops a direct blow from Yhwach's sword despite him overpowering True Shikai Ichigo casually.
Santen Kesshun:

Hollow Merge True Shikai Ichigo and Yhwach's fight has quite a destructive effect on the surroundings, but Santen Kesshun protects Orihime from the destruction.
Skills:

Orihime at the beginning of the arc is able to shape Santen Kesshun into a dome-shaped barrier large enough to shield herself and 8 others.
Orihime apparently learns how to "fly" (most likely she learned how to form Reiatsu footings under her feet) after training with Urahara.
Orihime can heal those in the midst of combat and no longer needs her subjects to be still in one position.
Downside:

Orihime's Sōten Kishun rejects phenomenon and events that have occurred; however, if the phenomenon were to never occur then Orihime can not reject that event since technically that event never occurred.
