nobody asked but let me just put it out here that if anyone ever comes to ask you for help regarding their mental health, please don’t start comparing. when somebody approaches you asking for help when they’re in a very bad stage of life, never, ever reply with
“i’ve gone through things a lot worse than this” or “people have experienced much worse than this, you aren’t going through shit” because it just makes them feel worse about their situation. you should just console that person and make them believe that they will
be able to go through whatever they’re experiencing and that you’ll be there for them whenever they need your help. also, if you are the one approaching others then please don’t ever start your conversation with things like “i’m going through a lot of stuff right now
and you’ll never be able to experience this” or “you don’t know shit about how i feel and what i’m going through” because just because you’re sharing your problems with that person does not make the person you’re sharing them with obligated to share their problems
with you. you don’t know what the person you’re talking to has gone through/experienced and saying those things can hurt badly and make people feel worse about themselves. as a person who has gone through all this shit i really felt the need to share it because
some of y’all bitches really don’t know how to treat others who are going through such bad stages of life where they are in serious need of help. take care and stay safe.
