The Govt of Yemen holds the @STCSouthArabia leadership based in #AbuDhabi fully responsible for the failure of the #RiyadhAgreement. The STC’s recent announcement is a coup against the legitimate Govt, and a withdrawal from the Riyadh Agreement. 1/6

The STC's announcement is an attempt to avert the repercussions of its failure to provide anything to the people of #Aden who recently suffered catastrophic flooding, and the lack of services after the complete disruption and seizure of Govt institutions. 2/6

The Govt of #Yemen has executed its part of the #RiyadhAgreement on military & security side. Yet, @STCSouthArabia’s hindered the Govt from implementing more in the agreement by using military force, and media campaigns against the Govt, #ArabCoalition, and the Riyadh Agreement.

The Govt of Yemen calls on the #ArabCoalition to assume their historical responsibilities and abide by agreements for maintaining the territorial integrity of the Republic of #Yemen. 4/6

We also call on the int’l community, the @UN, the #ArabLeague, @OIC_OCI, and the @GCCSG to condemn this coup against the Govt and its institutions, and to support the legitimate Govt in upholding #UNSC resolutions affirming the stability, and territorial integrity of #Yemen. 5/6

The STC’s statement is a clear support for #Houthis in the war against Yemeni people. We affirm the capability of our valiant national army to preserve the integrity, security, and sovereignty of #Yemen, and protect the country from any attempts aimed at destabilizing it. 6/6
