So I saw a #Verzuz list between these 2 greats on Facebook..& it was clearly created by some 15-year old gen-Z-er’, just off of the chosen songs alone. I won’t even put the song list on here outta respect for us all lol No criteria whatsoever..there were features vs solo tracks..

..and no clear distinction between if each round was based off of the overall song, or Drake/Hov’s performance on them. Example: they had Run This Town vs Know Yourself

I don’t even think this matchup makes the most sense, considering how vastly different their catalogs are stylistically; Hov’s biggest records are majority rap while Drake’s ranges from melodic-rap to straight up R&B or Pop..so it’s tough to go song for song with that in mind..

If we’re doing a #verzuz between @Drake & @S_C_ , each round should be between 2 tracks of the same vein (pop hit w/ R&B-ish chorus, B-side jawns, singles, conscious/lyrical rap etc;)..that’s the only way to do this and have it make some sort of sense..
