A VERY STRANGE EXPERIENCE:

Hi guys, had a very strange experience yesterday evening. I thought I'd share it in a thread and get your thoughts.

I was leaving downtown Miami. There was little traffic. I came a stop light in the middle lane of a three lane road. There was one car in front of me. I saw an Hispanic man pushing a scooter motorcycle through the crosswalk, left to right.

I wondered to myself why he was pushing the scooter instead of riding. He looked at me briefly before I lost sight of him as he passed in front of the car in front of me at the light. I kept expecting him to emerge from the other side of the car and finish crossing the street.

He never did. When the light turned green, I expected the car in front not to go as this scooter guy on foot was stopped in front of him. But as the light changed, the car went, and there was no scooter guy. Nothing. He had vanished.

All in all, a completely bizarre experience. This was a full grown man, dark hair and beard with a dark red scooter and a milk crate attached to the back for carrying things. I saw him full on 3D, not from the corner of my eye. He simply vanished.

Has anyone else ever had and odd experience of this nature where something simply disappeared or appeared that should not have been there? Who knows, not trying to make a big deal of this - just a very weird story.

The strange thing was that as I saw this guy, something told me there was something odd about him. When he did not re-emerge it was as if I half-expected that to happen. Like I said, odd experience. Who knows?
