When you sell a digital product & you are having trouble pricing it, remember these things:

1. How many hours it took you to create it
2. The cost of the program you to used to create the product
3. The taxes & fees associated with the platform you are selling it through
4. The amount of customer service hours you will have to put into it after the you launch the product. Regardless of how clear your directions are, you will always have to answer questions & provide service.

If you have a goal of 100 sales, then factor in maybe 15-30 minutes
per customer. That’s easily 25 hours or more of customer service for one product.

It’s the little things that count in addition to how much KNOWLEDGE you are providing through your digital product.
In the agency world, we have to factor COMMUNICATION into the price we give to the client. This doesn’t include actual work being done, but the amount of time it takes just simply talking to & emailing someone.

That’s still work. That’s still time being spent. Time is money.
