Watching a doc called The World at Night following animals after dark and there’s a scene in it that made me laugh as hard as anything I can remember recently

There’s a Canadian town where moose nearby eat mostly pine needles through the fall...

...until Halloween

On Halloween night the moose roll in with numbers and barrel through the town eating every single jack-o-lantern they can shove in their faces, humanity be damned

Like, candles still burning in them, in full sight of onlookers, etc

Am seriously considering taking a vacation and bringing my own lawn chair just to watch a gang of moose tear up a town so they can each eat thirty pounds of pumpkin in one night

I might pull muscles laughing that hard for that long but it’s be worth it because those moose are FOCUSED, JACK
