Some people have been touched by murder. They might not be ok with murder in their games. This is why safety tools and session zero are so important! Also, no type of person is more likely to be violent than any other, and this brings up back to fantasy race tropes and orcs (4/X)
Evil races are a gross reminder of colonialist tropes, white man's burden, and other bullshit non-white people have died from. It's legit to not want them in your game. Yes, we know it's fiction, but that fiction is based in unpleasant reality. Games are political. (5/6)
Lastly, Scarred Lands is a universe that I think does orcs pretty well despite still having the racial bonuses inherent in 5e.
