I have a thing about corruption (not just in the UK but worldwide) due to an incident in the 2000's when I was asked to do something immoral, illegal & against my nature by someone very well respected in society

I have never & will never publicly discuss it (so don't ask)...
...and that's not the point of this anyway. But it effectively made me realise that even people who attract the most prestige are not necessarily trustworthy or decent

It also made me far more aware of corruption in the UK as I had my eyes open from then on
When we talk about corruption, most ppl in the UK *immediately* point at African countries (I wonder what motivates THAT 🙄) & police & govt violence, brutality & corruption there. However...

On my travels, I've realised something quite worrying:
Corruption in other countries is very much on display. It's blatant, it's heated, usually violent but very much on display

That's not the case in the UK. In the UK, the corruption is insidious, it's sneaky, it's VERY well practised (over many many generations) & secret...
...in a lot of cases.

Look at what the UK has now. I hear the same ppl asking the same question over & over:

"HOW did this happen?"

It happened via the same mechanisms used to put scum in power since England became England
Just because the violence comes at the end of a pen, doesn't make it less violent or cruel or brutal

The tools may have changed, but the problems are the same now as they've always been. For things to change, they have to change completely.
So when I encounter someone that really, truthfully believes that we're somehow less corrupt than African or South American nations, I want to shake them & introduce them to the families of those who have suffered because of English corruption & brutality.

We ARE corrupt

End
Afterthought:

I bet that right now, at least 50% of my followers think "that couldn't happen in England", that thought IGNORING the last 5 years, Cameron & pig fucking, May, Brexit, Trump support, Boris, proroguing parliament, lies, Cummings, SAGE, 40k Dead....

🤦‍♂️
...Iraq, Northern Ireland & other armed conflict abuses, David Kelly, WMD, selling a pregnant woman to the US security services at Guantanamo (& having to pay her off afterwards), assoc police chiefs giving personal data to the US...

Yeah. Couldn't happen in England could it
