Being in a major grocery store this afternoon 2 major things stood out; 1. A whole lot of people don’t know how to wear masks or can’t be bothered with the inconvenience of wearing it properly. If you’re wearing it on your chin or have your nostrils exposed, what’s the point?

You know how you turn down the music to find an address when you’re driving, I saw someone take it off to read a label. I burst out laughing.
2. We’re really living through a fucking pandemic!!! I was looking at people not wearing masks like they were crazy.

Every 5 mins or an announcement came on about social distancing and my mind would be blown afresh. When I’m home and not watching the news and dissociating online, I can forget, kinda, but holy shit! When you go outside, to any public place there’s no escaping it.

Going to unload these groceries, disinfect my car, disinfect the groceries, disinfect my kitchen, have another shower then have a stiff drink.

If you can afford to, when you’re checking out, please put a little something on a gift card for the essential worker checking out your groceries and bagging your stuff. It goes a longer way for them than your thanks, high praise and small talk.
