I have 30 followers on twitter, and don’t get me wrong I appreciate y’all. But I get zero engagement. On Instagram, I have 105 followers and I get at least 20 people engaging with my art. So you can see why I choose to post more there right? But the quality is ruined.

I don’t even know where to begin with growing a following here. And honestly it’s not about the number. It’s about wanting recognition. I want to do commissions. I want people to love my art like my friends do, I want people to see what I can do

I feel useless 90% of the time. So when I see I made someone happy just by drawing a cute girl, it makes me feel less useless. Quality is an important part of art. This is so discouraging and I don’t know what to do...

This thread may seem self centered, I understand there are a lot of issues in the world right now. I know and I shouldn’t complain about something so futile compared to the rest of the world’s issues. I just, idk man. I’m frustrated.
