I recently rewatched Mushishi Zoku-sho 蟲師 続章, and I'm still in love with it.

I can't thank enough Yoshihiko Umakoshi 馬越嘉彦 for being one of the main piece behind this show, he did so much, from AD, to KA, to CD.

Speaking of incredible talents, the art director Takeshi Waki 脇 威志 and the studio GREEN gave us some absolutely beautiful backgrounds, every frames of Mushishi are a delight to see, the colors are so good too.

Episode 4 who was directed by Nobukage Kimura 木村 延景 was just out of this world, the feeling of "tension/fear" was so well depicted it's insane.

Terumi Nishii 西位 輝実 also did an amazing work as AD, every drawings are perfect.
Some layouts are just amazing.

The show don't move much, (it's not his goal) but when it move it move well, I like this cut a lot, even if its pretty limited in term of animation, the feeling of power in the wind is so well retranscripted.
