The most QB talent is up front, the most missed on skill position talent in the NFL is in the back. So why not flip that method?
We always yell at teams draft RBs early because you have to pay them when you don't have to pay them. You have to pay QB and also find the most talent ones to backup your starter. Why would you continue to make it harder on yourself?
So you go get the guy that got pulled in the CFB championship game and felt like is life is over only to save the day the next year in the SEC Championship game and then made a Heisman run on his own.

... and you pair him up with a guy that got his moment stopped on in the SB
Lot less ego in that QB room from the jump
