Time to put the "Weapons won't matter when Bolles gets Lock killed" narrative to bed.

I just watched every Drew Lock snap... Do you know how many times he got sacked because of Bolles? Once.

Know how many times he was hit because of Bolles? Three times.

How many holds? One.
The frustration with Bolles is completely warranted but the hyperbole is unnecessary.

Truth is, a tackle's play is as dependant on the QB as a QB's play is dependant on the tackle.

Lock helped Bolles a lot with his feel for pressure and his ability to get out of the pocket.
You could make a case that two of the hits Drew took "because of" Bolles were his fault.

The sack GB allowed was to Frank Clark with the Chiefs up 23-3 and pinning their ears back on every snap.

The hold he took was to protect Lock from exactly what you all are worried about.
So, has Bolles been sub-par for most of his career? Yes.

But let's stop with the hyperbole. His problems are not about leaving the quarterback out to dry.
