so remember when I said I was excited to be starting a new journey a few weeks ago, yeah I was talking about going natural

This week makes 8 weeks post relaxer.

❤
Okay so once upon a time.. I've been getting perms since the 5th grade, before then I remember getting presses with the hot comb baby ( hated it ) so I asked my momma for a perm when she thought I was old enough cause I wanted straight hair without the pain
I would have to go search search for pics back then but just know my hair was long and straight so, I have no recollection of my hair before the presses and creamy crack for about 13 years I've been getting relaxers like clock work
no of course I don't see a problem cause for one everybody hair was permed back then it wasn't until I say my freshman year of highschool where I noticed classmates going natural but still didn't care my hair was long I didn't visually see any damage
Off guard from senior year of high school, I want to say this is my natural hair color but I can't remember if my mom let me experiment with color then but anywho. I always went to my beautician never did my hair at home.
Freshman year of college, nope still didn't see anything wrong with my hair , had the length and it was still thick imo, I even got my first bleach at the ends.
okay some of yall don't know my age but I'm 23, 2015 was my freshman year of college so yall don't get confused on the years, okay so skip some time. Fall 2018 I bleach my hair at the ends again and put a semi- perm rinse on and it and loved it
So heres some other shots of my hair , I never wanted to go natural bc perm didn't break my hair off. My hair kept its length and I was content right ...right , these I think are all within months of eachother bc you can see the red fade.
Spring 2018 , red hair had to be covered up shortly after I died it so it looks brown in this pic but baby, I loved my little length this was pretty much one of the last photos I have with my being this long, I started getting braids, faux locs, feeds in...
okay so we gone skip over the styles to save tweet bc I'll have to update this thread as I go and its already getting lengthy but I got a particular style ( won't say so stylist is not pointed out) now she did great but as I was taking it down my hair came out with it
