Just found an absolute masterpiece of mid 2000s internet design. Unrestrained use of gradients, repeating tile background (each page has a different one) and labyrinthine navigation. It's like finding ruins and trying to piece together a culture. Fascinating stuff. Link below.

The site was last updated about May of 2005, according to the site itself. There was an accompanying forum but that's been lost to internet erosion over the years and the domain no longer seems to exist. Real shame.
