You know what really sucks about the #coronavirus? How divided #America and #China will be when the dust settles...even before the virus happened, there was a huge anti-China sentiment rising in the West...why? Because Western government’s just can’t wrap their heads around what
China’s one party system has been able to accomplish in the last 30 years. Therefore every Western news station is trained to spread fear about China. We are told that Communism = Evil, and that the CCP is an evil empire. Have you ever been to #China before? Weren’t we taught as
children to never judge a book by its cover? Have you ever spoken to someone from China and asked them what they think about their country? What the government has been doing for their people?
I always laugh when people say #China is the biggest threat to #Democracy in the world...China’s government literally could care less about any other country’s government, the CCP tries to answer one question, “How do we improve the country?“
The problem with this thread is that I will be critized as a “Wu Mao” or CCP Internet Troll, but like many of the hundreds of thousands of expats that call China home, we’ve seen first hand that there is actually a lot of good things happening in #China every day!
It’s perfectly fine to support #China the West has benefited tremendously from their relationship with China over the past 3 decades. US companies have a huge market to export goods and services to, just look at the #NBA $DIS $TSLA $SBUX $NKE for example
In addition Western consumers have enjoyed cheaper prices on 90% of the household products we use every day. I love the goal of “Make America Great Again” #MAGA but remember it’s the US companies who went to #China to produce cheaper products and increase bottom line
No one in #China is holding a gun to American CEO heads forcing them to manufacture in #China...want to produce everything stateside? Go for it! But when an #iPhone costs 3k who is going to buy it?
The reality is the #American economy depends on healthy import/export relationship with countries from around the globe, #China included. Imagine if the No 1&2 economies in the world actually strengthened their relationship instead of destroying it
In my opinion, the #US needs #China more than China needs the US. With the trade war, many Chinese consumers started embracing their homemade products and started shunning American made products, just try and go a day without using a product made in China.
The device you are reading this tweet on was made in #China, bottom line here folks, blaming China will accomplish nothing at the end of the day. Did the world blame and try to hold the #UnitedStates financially accountable for H1N1, AIDS, the 2009 financial crisis?
Viruses happen anytime, anywhere in the world, let’s learn from China and their strict procedures on reopening the economy whilst keeping people safe and stop the hate. Stay safe everyone and thanks for reading my 2 cents on the matter #China
