I think most Nigerians are quick to judge , slander and most especially render criticism without seeking back stories .

Before u bite me wait let me explain...
I think we tend to consciously neglect the root cause of actions & follow the park or larger crowd .

Thread !
E.g A girl classified her own father as an animal , 90% of the comments nailed her as evil (yes I understand we have strong moral backgrounds) .
But let’s be critical , most issues suffered in Nigeria today are because we have “so much morals” , morals that have grown into fear .
There are variables that could motivate a young woman into classifying her father as an animal whether on social media or not , variables like child rape , abuse , molestation , lack of care etc
These can mould a child into becoming bitter , full of hate and blunt to emotions .
Most children today do not have a voice until they are adults , furthermore most actually still do not have a voice because the home country Nigeria doesn’t give them the chance . A system that induces fear into a kid, you are taught to respect and fear your elders regardless ...
they are right or wrong , a system that doesn’t give you the chance to your truth except you fight for it or seek social media as an escape .

Children suffer abuse but are shunned down and told off , forced to pray about it or given pep talks, they grow with the pain & silence .
So when we see people exhibiting certain traits , rather than channel a straight lined criticism, why not seek to know , attempt to taste their story, draw understanding from their experience, then pass judgement or suggest better channels to them .
I’m Not saying she’s right ...
