DnD Twitter is having a weird one.

Someone posted the 5E description of Orcs and said "why would you say this about black people?!" which was a bit self-revealing, but now there's a wave of dunkings pretending that DnD has never mapped real racial stereotypes onto its fantasy.
It just seems really, really weird to take the stance "DnD is a pure hobby that would never indulge in clumsy racial analogy" in a world where Bright exists.
I just can't work up sauce for someone's "bad orc take" when TTRPGs have lifted vocabulary from Henry Morton Stanley to Rush Limbaugh for describing intelligent antagonist monsters like orcs and goblins, and have done so for decades.
