S2 of Resistance is proving to be a great quarantine watch. The whole premise of this season is the constant need to hide from a threat with there being an occasional need to come out of hiding in order to restock supplies, do repairs and help those in need. It's eerily relevant.
Also - there is a ton of great ship designs in this show. From Vulture Droid-esque racing drones to Guavian Death Gang ships, the show provides a wonderful variety of shapes and colours in its vessels. Same goes for the characters.
Oh, and regarding this quarantine reading of S2, there is another aspect that I like that the season touches upon - boredom. When we think about war, we usually think about there being a constnt conflict on the frontlines, while the reality is quite the opposite.
Wartime is more a state of low humming of a threat that you know is there but you know will come at some point, which is interspersed with random flashes of violence. Tam brings this disappointment in a lack of activities in Station to Station and I very much appreciate that.
