Well, I never thought I would be at this point by the end of April, but #NowWatching film 300 for the year
And there was only ever going to be one choice for this landmark. My favourite film of all time.

Never understood how every aspect of this film was nominated for an Oscar... except Scarlett Johansson.
Baffling.
Baffling.
Sofia Coppola won for Best Original Screenplay but the film deserved more, and it would have surely gotten more if it had been any other year.
I'm going to blame this film for the reason I find women smoking attractive...
This is also responsible for my lifelong dream of going to Tokyo. Nearly went twice. Never quite got around to it.
Scarlett Johansson was 17 when she filmed this. 17!
(Although her character is meant to be 22)

I can pinpoint, almost to the day in 2003, because I was working at a cinema at the time, the exact moment that I fell in love with Scarlett Johansson.
(And women with pink hair in general)

"Let's never come here again because it will never be as much fun"
"I don't want to leave"
"So don't. Stay here with me. We'll start a jazz band"
(That's my favourite line. Ever. In any film)

The famous scene at the very end, everyone has their own idea of what Bob says to Charlotte on the street.
I think he says "I'll come back for you"
