Starting a thread of my policy ideas.

1. Clean up the city: $1,000 fine for littering or serve 16 hours of community service over the course of 2 months cleaning up litter. Any hours not served will be applied to the fine (i.e., 1hr unserved = $62.5)

2. Experienced Representatives: Public service was not meant to be a career path. 2 enter public service 1 must have a min. of 10yrs professional exp. & 5yrs min. exp. w/in the space of an agency. I.e., SBA employees have exp. owning, managing, or working w/in the SB environment
3. Mandatory Retirement from service: At age 70, individuals are no longer eligible to hold political office other than as an advisor. Any individuals holding office will be retired. Our leaders must be in touch with the times and have great care for the future we will live in
4. Clear Roads: Outlaw billboards. We can't crack down on distracted driving and then clutter up our roads with signs meant to take our attention and have us read. Not to mention, let's enjoy the open roads.
5. Accepting drinking into our culture: reduce the legal drinking age for wine & beer to 18. Eliminate the taboo, and let young folk learn to enjoy a drink with their meal and their families instead of hiding and seeking binge drinking environments
6. Legalize recreational marijuana use and release anyone in prison for the use or possession of marijuana
1B: Clean up the city: crackdown on graffiti. Graffiti subject to same 1K fine or community service option. Not murals, graffiti. And will fund local graffiti centers for artists to practice and learn.
