/7 Black women don’t have the power to make “Emmett Tills,” especially not from rich, powerful, politically connected men. Because the power dynamics dictate that they will be doubted. These dynamics allow these men to lay waste to their reputations. We further victimize them.

/8 But I guess there’s nothing more in line with 2020 than a powerful man who has faced zero consequences trying to organize a digital lynch mob and then claiming he’s the victim.

He’s not Emmett Till. He’s the head of the mob.
