say what you will about value form theory but this is exactly what happens when you teach people that capitalism is about the boss shaving off x% of your daily labor and putting it in his pocket

"oh, how about we start a business where we can put the surplus value into our own pockets instead. surely we won't face a fatal choice between maintaining our values and remaining competitive in the capitalist marketplace"
