I went to @saveonfoods. Left me wondering whether a Public Health Order is required for large grocery stores. SOF was not cleaning the handles on carts before patrons touch them nor did they have wipes available. Staff were touching the handles without gloves. #COVID19AB 1/3 https://twitter.com/kenningtonsays/status/1254373701375668230
The store had too many patrons in the store at once having regard to the layout. There was crowding when I was there in the vegetable bakery area & in dairy. Unlike Superstore, there wasn't a clerk at the self-checkout cleaning the station from time to time. 2/3
There were no directional guides in aisles & social distancing was impossible. I didn't feel comfortable & I am not a worrier. It was obvious that this was not a good environment. On the plus side, yeg is a reasonably low risk area. But a Public Health Order may be good. 3/3
