Did my best to try and obtain this evidence at today's press conference but alas there was no answer to my question about care homes sorry. https://twitter.com/PaulBrandITV/status/1254341413279608832
I know I'm a broken record on this, but for good reason.

I suspect the evidence is very scant, because the data is weekly. And if the government isn't able to monitor the spread of the virus in care homes day by day, that is a huge concern.
The brilliant @JenWilliamsMEN just asked the question again on care homes.

Stephen Powis once more points to fact it's easier to get data from hospitals (which it is). But Dominic Raab said deaths are falling in care homes, so how does he know? It's important to have this data.
Anecdotally (and I'm afraid that's all we have to go on) we have spoken to dozens of carers and I can tell you that none of them feel as if we've passed the peak in care homes.
