idk it’s just funny to me that the conceit of this thread is like “wow the traps were being moved by cute lizards” and the lizards are somehow more deserving of life than the hundreds of essential scavengers plus bycatch being killed because you want to grow your own zucchini

I just think if you have access to food infrastructure like, they’re already killing pests and doing shit like that in the farms where this stuff is being grown. there’s no reason to also fuck around in the yard and make things harder for the native wildlife
