I think part of the reason I keep my commission prices somewhat low is because my skill level is still in the “learning” phases, and I want my personal prices to reflect that.

Not that I think poorly of my art, just that I’m still... figuring stuff out, anatomy and all that!

I’m apprehensive to charge a hundred bucks before I can draw hands with confidence, ya know?

I know it’s smart to charge higher, and I absolutely encourage artists to not undercharge! This thread is only my personal feelings about my own skill, and isn’t necessarily intended as advice. As I said, I’m still learning, and figuring out what’s comfortable for me as I go.
