Although many members have spoken about LGBTQ issues, Prince William has been the most vocal in championing&supporting LGBTQ. HRH has previously worked alongside charities where LGBT community are service users. For example his work on homelessness, addiction and mental health.

He stated after the experience "no one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason &no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives. You should be proud of the person you are &you have nothing to be ashamed of."
After this he was on the groundbreaking cover of Attitude magazine, the first and only royal to be on the cover of the gay audience publication. This was a huge endorsement of LGBTQ rights and visibility.

In 2019, he visited the AlbertKennedyTrust, supporting young LGBT people at risk of homelessness. Prince William made a statement that he would support any of his children if they came out as gay. 77% say familial ejection is the cause of their homelessness. #lesbianvisibityday
