Unpopular opinion: re-opening the beaches is not a bad idea.

-you can socially distance at a beach as well as in a park (and more than on a trail)
-open beaches supplement other outdoor space, reducing crowding

True that you can’t always control what people do. But parks are open, trails are open, people can still go outside. What’s so different about the beach?
