Okay here is my thread on the upcoming Venus retrograde (rx for short) in Gemini.
Please pay attention because it is much more complicated than the Mercury rxs, even for me but I'll break it down in a way hopefully everyone can understand.

First I'll break down what rxs are and why this is different, then I'll break down the rules and what the collective will expect and finally I'll show you how to check how it will impact you as an individual.

Also, if you don't care about astrology I don't care. Keep it moving.

Retrogrades are not bad or scary. They are just simply a time when we stop, slow down and pay attention. All the things that come up have always been there. Key words are review, reevaluate, revise... see where I'm going?

You'll only see fire if

So a retrograde is when a planet appears to be moving backwards. It isn't actually moving backwards, it just appears to be doing so because planets move at different rates. In astrology this means that the energy is more internal and generally chaotic because we cannot predict it

You've probably heard about Mercury retrogrades, they happen 3/4 times a year and usually in the same element (all the ones this year are in water signs).
Now Venus retrograde only happens once every 2 years or so, the last one was in Scorpio season of 2018.

During the rx it comes closer than any other planet ever does to earth and strays more out of it's usual orbit than any other planet. That day is NB. There's also the day it's the most bright in the sky and slows down. This means there are more key dates than with other rxs.

With other rxs we only consider 3 key dates, the day it enters it's shadow which is the day it reaches the degree where the retrograde will END, the day the rx actually starts and the day the planet leaves the shadow, the degree which the rx started.

However with Venus we must also consider the day it is the closest to the Earth (Venus conjunct the sun = Venus at the same degree as the sun = Venus looks aligned to the sun from earth) as that's when it's effects are strongest.

Please notes that planets like Pluto, Saturn and the like stay in rx for longer but we don't feel those effects as strongly because they are so far from Earth, but we feel Mercury every time it trips out because it's just next door. That's why those dates are very important.

Okay now you know what a retrograde is so lemme give you guys all these dates.

Venus:

1. entered it's shadow on 9/9 @ 5"
2. is at it's max brightest today (26/04) and is slowing down @ 17"
3. Venus goes retrograde on 13/04 @ 21"
4. conjucts the sun @ 13" on 13/06
5. goes direct (forward) on 25/06 @ 5"
6. leaves shadow on 29/07 @ 21"

Venus also rules the (female) lover in one's chart, not the wife yeah, that's the moon. Yes, there is a distinction in astrology.

Venus rules both Libra and Taurus. That's why they are hot (and if not they still have sex appeal idk how ), that's why they have the best taste and that's why they always have h*es willing to risk it ALL.

Because of this even though the retrograde is in Gemini, they will all be impacted the most. (sun, moon and rising)
Those with planets in Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces between 5" and 21" too.

However, we will all be feeling it.

Why? Because we all have all the signs somewhere in our charts. If the previous tweet does not apply to you check which area Gemini falls in your birth chart.

If you don't have a birth time that's okay just check if you have planets in the signs and degrees I mentioned before.

If you have a birth time google the house that Gemini is in because that's what you'll be reevaluating.

Also you can also think back to what started shifting on the 5th. There's clues there as to what you will be dealing with the entire rx.

Think back to April/June of 2012, that's the last time Venus was rx in Gemini. Before that, same time '04 Similar things are going to come up

Collectively we will be reevaluating courtship & adoration, I see a lot of women leaving men who aren't useful during these times of the Rona.

Rona aside, I see a lot of women leaving men who just aren't pleasing them.

Because of Neptune's influence it will be easier to leave someone than in regular times. Delusion will be on your side in this regard but please build something with it.

In terms of personal taste and aesthetics we can already see a sample of the shift with masks.

Venus represents your values and also conditional love. So we as a collective will be asking ourselves why we love, I'm seeing this exercised in how we treat the elderly and homeless. Because of the frequency of Venus rx the influences last for much longer.

Venus rules our relationship with finances and material possessions and with Uranus in Taurus I feel the shift will be more based on money itself like I wouldn't be surprised if more people experiment with BitCoin and similar counterparts.

In terms of pleasure I think we are all going to look at how we engage with others especially with limited contact.

Transit astrology isn't my thing hey so these are just guesses.

The fact that this retrograde is Mercury influenced (Gemini is ruled by Gemini) just tells me it will be chaotic.

I see a lot of shadow work being done because of the duality of Gemini.

I FORGOT TO MENTION SOONER: this isn't the best time to try something new in regards to your appearance or to date someone new unless you've already been thinking about it. I see chat of piercings and tattoos and I recommend holding of until 29/07.

If that ex is the one, they can wait until 29/07. You can choose to not listen to me but we also have an upcoming retrograde in Mars and TWO Mercury retrogrades. You're going to learn one way or another.
