Lots of talk about how the loss of commutes is hitting podcast listening. I have a slightly more nuanced take - that it's the scrambling of routine. Podcasts are built on routinized listening. When it feels like you're inventing every day from scratch, harder to fit them in. 1/2
But that might be changing, perhaps people are starting to build some new routines and in turn new listening habits? So I'm curious, what shows have you fit into your new routines?

Mine:

- Phoebe Reads a Mystery is for stoop workouts
- 5-4 pod is for Sunday bathroom scrubbing
The responses have been fascinating. And I've learned about a few new shows. One thing that's being mentioned a bunch is Covid fatigue. Let me humbly suggest that if you want something that is pure distraction, there's @30for30; and partial distraction, there's @thisdaypod!
