1) @ProfTimNoakes Why N1 IF/fasting and low carb real food are the interventions for our time. Used by my family and @FastingMethod to great success. The most common driver of chronic disease in modern times is energy toxicity. Met Syn, insulin resistance, obesity downstream.
2) Feel everyone interested in health and every health/wellness professional should watch the 15-min video here. Insulin resistance is a triage/protective response to too much energy(food), too frequently. Exacerbated by high insulin response food. https://drcate.com/overeating-is-bad-for-mitochondria-calories-count/
3) Insulin response is driven by mitochondria sensors that a cell is too full of energy. In mitochondria ETC is at capacity. Letting any more energy in would result in too much oxidative damage. Possible mitochondria death. Then cell, tissue, organ failure. IR protective here.
4) What insulin resistance accomplishes is avoiding organ failure. Body wisdom is distributing energy toxicity throughout body. Absolutely imperfect. But body doing best to survive another day. Eventually fatty muscles, pancreas, liver ☹️. But Body first max out subcutaneous.
5) Why personal fat threshold matters. And many get T2 as on outside, ok looking TOFI. I was 350+ for over 10 years, then 270-300 another 10+. Never a fasting glucose over 101. Healthy? No. Not by mile. But somehow not T2 at almost 48. Found low carb real food, fasting in time.
6) Why fasting and low carb real food (and exercise) are such elegant and powerful solutions to fatty organs and insulin resistance. They allow the body to burn/use/‘drain’ visceral fat. They lower insulin give folks tools to get below personal threshold. Rejuvenate mitochondria.
7) For mitochondrial health (which drives our health, at cell to organ to organism levels, not eating is a Profound tool/intervention. It allows your trillions of batteries to operate at ‘factory spec’ for lifelong health and wellness. As go mitochondria, we go. Mind them well.
