Why do Christians shun all other traditional practices but follow the lobola process to the dot just like their ancestors did ?

Please tell me other Ndebele cultural practises Christians still follow other than lobola

In the Bible dowry was a gift to the parents so that they would place a blessing on the children as they get married , in the Ndebel culture kulotsholwa abantwana. Those are two different things
