That means that we can have millions of silent carriers roaming around who, with time will also suffer some consequences. Which means, simply, that we cannot ever get a handle on this epidemic until either we have a vaccine, or we can test and retest every person. 2/

Taken together, all of these elements add up to a frightening picture of a virus that has the potential to become a population killer... without either a vaccine or testing capacity. I don’t say this lightly, but we have a very serious problem here.

And... we have literally no national leadership to deal with it. If there was ever a time to listen to science, to exercise a duty to warn....
