NEW: No 10 has confirmed - as per @Telegraph - that it is looking at asking people returning to UK airports to quarantine.

During current phase where UK infections high, govt felt airport lockdown made little difference. But once infections fall, important to control arrivals.

The suggestion is this would form part of the next phase of ‘lockdown’, so I don’t expect it to be introduced until after the review of this current phase (ie about another week and a half). #covid19
