family: why do you never let us join in with or tell us about your interests, it's not nice!!

my family have always like.....idk picked on me (?? that feels too mean to say but something like that) for enjoying things, whether it's openly or private and it's kinda exhausting and miserable tbh..

i've always kept any interests i have as hidden as possible bc of

the way they ALWAYS act whenever i show the slightest interest in anything and before i learned how to hide things from them properly i ended up stop doing a lot of things i enjoyed bc i just couldn't handle their criticism all time.

family please....

it is already SO FUCKING DIFFICULT to find things that hold my interest and that i enjoy so PLEASE stop constantly being nasty about anything i like...

with being stuck with them a lot more than normal they're getting noisier than usual (which is saying something) and i'm getting stuck in those feelings of shame and embarrassment again for just doing things that pass the time in a way that doesn't bore me to death and i'm tired.
