Qualitative Analysis - Interview Comments - Baby 1 at 2am this morning "I'm awake! Why isn't Mammy awake? I better do some mooching - she needs to know I'm awake! Am I hungry? Nope! Do I need a nappy change? Nope! I do fancy a cuddle though - better mooch louder" (grumbles) 2/12
"How is she still not awake? Someone needs to gaze at me adoringly immediately! Moochy, moochy, moochy" (Grumbles louder) 3/12
Mother wakes with a frightened start after approx. 2 hours sleep and peels her head off the pillow, rubbing her sore eyes. Father snores away blissfully 4/12
Baby Participant 1 "Yay she's awake I'm so happy! Here come the cuddles! No... wait a second I'm tired again... better go back to sleep... After all I wouldn't want to wake poor Daddy - he needs his rest. After all us boys need to stick together" 5/12
Baby starts snoring, Mother sighs and lies back down knowing she's wide awake now and might not sleep for hours 6/12
Conclusions: Baby Participant 1 is very adorable but is pure codding his poor Mammy 7/12
Recommendations: Mother goes for a badly needed nap today. Father needs to make her a hot chocolate. 8/12
Conflicts of Interest: Mother and Author are one and the same 9/12
Funding: Hahahaha
