Since ME! completed one year today, here is a thread of all the Easter eggs, clues, references, etc. that we were able to find from it's music video.
First regarding the song's release date, it was released on 26th April which was also the day when Avengers: Endgame was released. Taylor's song called 'Endgame' contains the lyrics "Reputation precedes me" and her album reputation literally precedes the song ME!
The video starts with this pavement which can be a reference to her poem 'Why she disappeared',published in her Reputation era magazine, which contains the lines 'When she fell, she fell apart, Cracked her bones on the pavement, She once decorated, As a child with sidewalk chalk'
In this scene a snake (symbol for reputation) turns (metamorphoses) into butterflies (the symbol for lover), which represents the end of reputation era and start of lover era. It also implies that Taylor herself has transformed into a new happier self.
This line spoken by Brendon is actually a lyric from her song called 'False God'.
A reference to the lyric 'Swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover' from lover.
Foreshadowing the next single after ME!
This Christmas tree is a foreshadowing for the lyric 'We could leave the Christmas lights up 'til January' from Lover.
We could see palm trees here which could be a reference to Cruel Summer.
Photo of Dixie Chicks foreshadowing her collab with them on 'Soon you'll get better'.
There are 13 clouds present in this scene.
A nod to the phone in 'Look what you made me do' and also 'Our song'.
Referencing 'Step into the daylight and let it go' from Daylight.
Also we can see the shadows of her 'past' selves in this scene.
There are 7 suitcases in this scene representing that Lover is her seventh album.
Also the suits and the suitcases foreshadow her song The Man.
This scene foreshadows the lyric 'Staring out the window like I'm not your favorite town' from 'False God'.
The next scenes reveal that the whole music video is taking place in a chrysalis further adding to the butterflies and metamorphosis symbolism.
We all know what this lover sign means so I won't explain it😂.
This scene looks very similar with the rooftop scene from 'Begin again'. Probably this parallel implies that Taylor 'Began again' after the happenings of reputation.
This scene references the lyric 'Kaleidoscope of loud heartbeats under coats' from Welcome to New York.
This scene was a foreshadowing for the shape of the stage that was going to be used for lover fest.
The angels in this scene were a foreshadowing for the lyric 'Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes' from Cruel Summer.
The country boots are a nod for Taylor's country roots.
The Big Ben here is a foreshadowing for the song London Boy.
This scene foreshadows the song Cornelia Street.
This scene is a reference to 'With you I'd dance, In a storm in my best dress fearless' from the song Fearless.
This scene also could be a reference to the dancing in the rain scene from Delicate MV.
I tried to include all the Easter eggs I could remember so if I forgot some plz tell me😅.
This scene is a foreshadowing for the lyric "We're so sad, we paint the town blue" from Miss Americana and The Heartbreak Prince.
