One of the things to realize is that once you're generally regarded as an influencer on SM, there are people who will tweet/post provocative things at you solely for attention-seeking purposes. They want to get you angry, elicit a response from you. Learn to spot them.

They know that a response from you will bring attention to their handle. And attention = followers, clout etc.

Don't fall for it, ever. Mute, Block, or Ignore. No apologies. Some desperate ones will even try to use your blockage for clout, Ignore still. LOL.

Happens on IG a lot. A random troll will make a very provocative comment about a Nollywood celebrity, in the comments on a post by the celebrity. Celebrity, instead of ignoring/blocking, will reply.
