I don't usually do threads but the quotes in this article have made me really angry so saddle up

First of all, if you don't like the people you represent, please do not become an MP https://twitter.com/JAHeale/status/1254160664949665794
If you are elected, your first responsibility is your constituents. Not your party, not your ideology, not your career. Your constituents.
How on earth are Tory voters who need their MP's help supposed to feel able to call their office if the MP has just said 'we want them gone, we know where they live?'
LRM first came to my attention when he grabbed the mace in a Brexit debate- an attention-seeking stunt that inevitably led to him being told to leave the chamber and leave his constituents unrepresented in a crucial debate
He also recently shared the unredacted dossier, showing no care at all for the safety of whistleblowers just because they might be a different faction
And openly advocating for getting rid of people who don't support your party from your constituency, even going as far to say "we know where they live?" You shouldn't just lose your frontbench position, you should not even be an MP
This is Danica Roem, one of the US's first openly trans legislators, being asked to comment on defeating a man who called himself the "chief homophobe"

This is how it is done. We don't win by going low.
