I. Unrepeatable generation
“That generation will never be repeated but what follows does not have to necessarily be worse in terms of how the club fares”

Indeed, we may never see a generation like the 08/09. But that doesn't mean we should give up, or necessarily be worse.
In fact, we shouldn't look to 'repeat' the generation. They are a model, yes, but players like Arthur, Frenkie & Puig should look to print their own legacy in the club instead of trying to repeat the legacy of Xavi or Iniesta.
II. Different Eras
"There have been all sorts of eras in the club’s history: young players used to get a chance in the first team when results were bad and they had to turn to the youth team. That happened in my era."
We've often seen a pattern of a lack of trust under Bartomeu's board, and Rosell's before.
Iniesta acknowledges that the youth won't always give you results, and if they don't turn out to be a huge success, it's fine.

We should look back and use La Masia as a resource, again.
"But then you have the period when you have 10, 11, 12 players from the youth team in the 1st team squad. It depends on who the coach is, the situation of the club, but I always think that a player in the youth system who is good enough to play in the 1st team reaches it"
Iniesta develops the idea of 'being good enough'. We often tend to doubt of the talents nowadays. Another key element Iniesta says is around 11 from La Masia should be in the squad, important of course. Barely can be seen if you count out Alba, Leo & Piqué.
We should give more chances to see if they are good enough. If they are, they will become first teammers, as Iniesta pointed it out.
III. Favouritism of La Masia?
"We’re people who have been at the club our whole lives and we have that ‘plus’ that others don’t have"

Indeed, it sometimes seem as we discredit other just because they don't come from La Masia, which is something we should avoid to do.
However, as Don Andres points it out, it's a 'plus', an advantage to come through La Masia, as there are more chances of our boys knowing how to play the JdP(Juego de Posicion).

Players outside la Masia can succeed as well, as we see it with Arthur, as well as Villa or Alves.
